Do witches recruit other people to join their covens?
While the covens of today are far more open than in years past, outsiders are always kept at arms length for a period of time. Open recruiting is almost unheard of in the magical community, as the very nature of secrecy for safety sake is the prevailing attitude. It is quite rare to find a pagan, witch or other magical practitioner whose personal quest is any sort of evangelism. Most often, practitioners are happy to share, when asked, but do not go out of their way to discuss their beliefs with outsiders.
