Do Witches believe in fate or reincarnation?
Witches do not usually believe in reincarnation. At least not in the typical sense. Most traditions believe in some concept of the Otherworld or a spirit world where the soul goes to rest before returning and continuing the journey. The return is often referred to as a transformation, not a reincarnation (reincarnation, in its true form, is an Eastern concept). A soul may come back transformed into an animal, a person, or sometimes a spirit. Sometimes the soul is believed to just go back and join with the earth from whence it came to become one with nature again (this is sometimes called a “land spirit”). There are many beliefs regarding death and “afterlife” and they differ greatly from tradition to tradition.
