Do window mount cb antennas work well?
Through the glass antennas do not work well at 27 mhz. The inductive coupling required just does not work well at these frequencies. Essentially, the “lower profile” you go, the poorer the performance. These antennas will work…. but don’t expect any range over a mile or two. Amplifiers or “boosters” are illegal and should never be used…. no matter what others may say.
