Do wind turbines produce low frequency noise (LFN)?

0

All noise travels through the air in ‘wave’ movements, LFN has long wave lengths and travel further then high frequencies. LFN is present in any ambient background, and is produced from a variety of man-made and natural sources. It has been accepted by noise professionals that the levels of LFN created from modern commercial wind turbines are low and beyond the level of human perception. It is also important to note that the distance of the turbines from the shore is so great that noise will not be discernable onshore.
