Western girls are more into singers such as Justin Timberlake (a former boy band member), Backstreet Boys, Robbie Williams (who used to be in the band “Take That”) because they are constantly exposed to them in the media and their own culture. Singers such as G-Dragon may seem alien to them because first of all they probably would have NEVER heard of them and they also sing in different languages (usually Korean and Japanese). Yess asian girls practically worship singers such as G-Dragon, including me!
