Do weekend Playgroups exist?
There are not many weekend play groups as most see weekends as family time. However, many local swimming baths do lessons for parents and children at a weekend, where you can meet many other mums. Also, many churches do creche groups and Sunday Schools for children, providing a family type atmosphere. You could also check out your leisure centre for things like trampoling classes, dance lessons, baby gym etc as a more structured weekend activity then a play group. Ggood Luck, hope i t helps.
