Actually, the opposite is true: those who make the best subjects are those who possess a strong will, and have an above average intelligence. Hypnosis has nothing to do with the will of a person, but rather, has more to do with the creative imagination of a person. Imagination is a much stonger faculty than the will. In the early days of hypnosis, it was believed that domination of one’s will was the operative force behind hypnosis. Today we know this to be false. Bright, imaginative, intelligent, creative individuals, by far, make the best subjects.
