No. The reason for getting a new service center number is to be able to submit transactions in the ASC X12N format. This format can only be received via SSL FTP over the Internet. The bulletin board is strictly for submitting claims in the NSF format and will cease to exist when the ASC X12 transactions become mandatory for electronic exchanges on October 16, 2003.
