The data rate of HDCCTV is much higher than traditional CCTV system. Therefore, the network equipments for HDCCTV should have the ability to afford high data rate transmission, in order to ensure the performance. If 4 or less MX cameras installed in the site, Gbit network port is not necessary, but if more than that, Gbit network ports are recommended to ensure high data amount on one network segment can passed to the segment that leads to an intended destination.
