Do we really need to factor years of experience into I.S.P. certification?
The I.S.P. designation needs to address new and existing entrants to the IT field. Factoring in years of experience provides an avenue for existing entrants to achieve an I.S.P. Sufficient experience is a requirement of most professions. In fact, many if not all professions have a period of apprenticeship or its equivalent.
