Do we really learn more about human life and human personality through novels than scentific psychology?
I would say no. In any novel, you are getting one person’s view of human life. Still informative to assess a particular experience to that person or their perceptions of a differing situation, but not a means in and of itself to find all you need to know about the generals of human personality. I would trust a well done, unbiased study over a novel any day.
