It is possible that you will need to upgrade your computing infrastructure to accommodate the dramatic increase in the amount of data generated by the HiSeq. The recommended configuration for one HiSeq 2000 is an IlluminaCompute Tier 1. You can use the Tier 1 configuration as a benchmark to judge whether your existing configuration is sufficient. IlluminaCompute Tier 1 is available on the Illumina website and from your local account manager.
