Do we need to see copies of disclosures for the range of individuals that come into schools, for example trainee teachers, educational psychologists, nurses or dentists?
No. These individuals should have been CRB checked by their `providing` organisation – e.g. the university, LA, etc. It is therefore sufficient, at the time arrangements are being made for placements or visits, for schools or LAs to seek verbal or written confirmation that appropriate checks, including CRB checks, have been carried out.
