It is not required to have an MTA signed for research orientated institutions, as well as pharmaceutical companies who need to produce therapeutic and diagnostic reagents using our tissue samples or tissue arrays. It is the individual researcher’s responsibility to get approval from their respective Intuitional Review Board (IRB) to use human tissue samples for their research work.
