Limerick is on the west coast of Ireland – the closest airport to Limerick City is Shannon. If you google a map of Ireland, it’s usually clearly marked. Ryanair flies to Shannon from Stansted & Gatwick, Aer Lingus flies from Heathrow. You could rent a car if you were so inclined but Shannon Airport is serviced by public transport & you can catch a bus directly into Limerick City.
