Do we have Honors Core (Reading, Language Arts, and Social Studies) classes?
We will not have Honors Core this year. However, we are going to implement RTI in 6th grade. This will allow us to differentiate our instruction in Core and ultimately ensure that all of our students receive the instruction they need. It is possible, after initial assessments have been scored, and various data reviewed, that your student may be switching to a different teacher within the Core block time in order to ensure that he/she is properly placed in the appropriate RTI class.
