Do we ask philosophical questions to know or to attract attention?

0

I hope we all ask philosophical questions to know as that is the point of philosophy. I wouldn’t ask a question unless I’m actually looking for an answer. Unfortunately, It’s easily possible that people might ask a question to attract attention. This is clearly a sign of ignorance. But, of course we do want people to pay attention to our questions otherwise they would not be answered. The supreme goal of asking questions is to get answers. Why did you ask this question to us?
