Do Water Crystals in Container Gardens Really Work?
Do Water Crystals in Container Gardens Really Work? Thursday June 11, 2009 Water Crystals? Photo Kerry Michaels I went into a nursery today and two people were forking over big bucks for water crystals. They are incredibly popular and often called a “green” product, even though some studies have shown that polyacrylamide, which most water crystals are made from, is a carcinogen. I have never used them, but some people swear that when they mix water crystals into their potting soil, they only have to water their container gardens once a week. Find out if you should run out and buy some water crystals, or make peace with your hose. Comments (6)See All Posts
