Do Washing Machine Vibration Dampers Work?

Have you checked that there are no drum stays fitted that need to be removed before use. My neighbour forgot and it nearly shook the house down. Check also that the machine is level as this could also make it vibrate more as it won’t be balanced properly. Don’t fill it too full or wash really heavy things that unbalance the machine. As for vibration dampers, they are probably only bits of rubber you put under the feet. Rubber mats do reduce vibration. Have a look round and see if you can’t make some before you shell out loads of dosh.
