Do vocal lessons help?
Oh extremely. Unless you have no sense of tone. That you just can’t help. But if you can hit notes properly, a voice teacher can teach you to breath correctly to support those notes, helping you to hold them out, and make them less breathy. They can teach you where to place your voice so you can project more accurately, and that helps with proper dynamics. They can also help your range. I started taking voice lessons a few months ago, and could only hit a C above the staff. I’m already up to an F above the staff! My soprano notes have more of a ring, and my lower notes have more projection. I am also learning better breathing techniques, so yes, all around they can help a lot.
