I really can’t find anything conclusive that says that vegetarians live on average a lot longer than meat eaters, but data does show that vegetarians (and people who eat little meat) have lower blood pressure, cholesterol, less chance or heart disease and many types of cancers and are less likely to be overweight. Overall sounds like a good choice to me to eat a diet with less meat. You might not live a lot longer but it could be a healthier and more active life.
