Do Users viewing reports need the d/b password?
You will not have to give the database password out. The database password is stored inside cView and can be locked away from the user. If the user clicks refresh, cVIew uses this saved password when it connects to the database. The user does not need to enter a database password to view the report. If you are using our schedulers with cView, the schedule administrator simply puts the password into the cViewMANAGER or cViewSERVER schedule and this is not seen by anyone else.
