Do UPC Bar codes work outside the United States?
Yes, the bar code will work anywhere that either UPC or EAN bar codes are scanned throughout the world. This includes North America (Canada & US), Central America, South America, Europe, the South Pacific including New Zealand, Australia, Asia, India and the Middle Eastanywhere in the world that scans bar codes on products. However, not all EAN codes can be read by all retailers in North America.
