ATTENTION ALL U.S. CITIZENS: Please note that in order to enter Canada by land, a birth certificate and valid driver’s licence with picture ID are required until January 1, 2009. After that date, PASSPORTS WILL BE REQUIRED! As of January 23, 2007, any U.S. citizen entering Canada by air will require a passport. BIRTH CERTIFICATES CAN USUALLY BE OBTAINED AT YOUR COUNTY COURT HOUSE OR ITS SATELITE OFFICES. NOTE: PASSPORTS MAY REQUIRE 1-3 MONTHS TO OBTAIN. CHECK WITH YOUR LOCAL DMV OFFICE.
