Do u think that buddhism may become the religion of the future?
No certain answer for that as you don’t specify what future is about. Your future might be next decade, next century, next millennium … not sure. It depends on the people of the future actually. If more people learn about Buddhism, until they understand what Buddhism is and what it gives, I can say they can become Buddhists. It also depends on future cultures as well. If the cultures of the future people support education, freedom of thought, etc, then the people would certainly find Buddhism and learn what the absolute freedom (nibbanna or nirvana) is about. The third thing is the ability of the people. Now people are forced to eat too much chemicals, etc. The environment is in trouble. If the future is not too bad for human race to learn and become educated, then they will certainly keep finding the truths. Only the people who are thoughtful, answer-seeking, independent and open-minded would search and enjoy the knowledge. If the world has more people like these, then more people w
