Do u think its true that opposites attract?
It’s true opposites can be attacted to each other especially in the initial stages ie they like the look & build of someone or they connunicate well together. From recent experience I have learned that this cannot always be enough, the lady I was with and myself got on together perfectly but then there was the differences ie: Music, Movies, political views, moralistic views and general lifestyle and dress differences. These are the things which are hard to live with or without sometimes the state of mind we call love is just not enough if we cannot be truly who we are.
To some degree, yes opposites do attract. The reason being… often times people will have an attraction to someone whom has certain qualities that are perceived as attractive that we may not have in ourselves but we admire. The problem sometimes with being in a relationship with complete opposites is that we then find ourselves in relationships where we have nothing in common, no common ground from which to build the relationship and the very thing that you found so attractive in that other person, you may start really resenting and wondering why they are not more like yourself in terms of goals, personality, and other core issues/values that are essential to have in common to thrive in the relationship.
