Do u need a calender program or a snake game program written in c by me?
I doubt anyone does. The internets are saturated with flash snake games and a c one is likely to be even less popular. It’s been done before. There are also many calendar applications. You would be competing with corporations such as mozilla (sunbird) and google (google calendar), and they have whole teams of programmers working full time. Do you think you can do better? I’m not trying to discouraging. It would probably do you good to write them anyway – you would get the opportunity to practice programming. It’s just that the benefit would be mostly yours, rather than the huge number of satisfied users you’d have. It’s hard these days to come up with a unique project which can be done by a one-person team.
