okay the big difference is that anime is japan is more for adults audience rather than kids and the plots are way more complex than cartoons and anime has more “dark tone ” drawings. for example saint seiya– is about mythology and death saint beast– about angels and demons naruto – about ninjas and cartoons sponge bob avatar mickey mouse are more for kids the main reason in the anime shows in the us is easy you can all thanx the fcc thats one of the main reason there is no kick *** animes shows in the us because of the censorship and the one who make it are heavily censored.
