Do u know or ever heard this guys name–mustafa kemal ataturk?
Yes, he is revered as the founder of modern-day Turkey. Mustafa Kemal is his name. Ataturk is an honorific. I believe it translates as “Father of all Turks”. His public rise to prominence began during WW1 as a coronel in the Ottoman Turkish Army. During the French & British attack on Gallipoli, when he ignored the local geman commander, ralled turkish troops & pinned the Entente forces on the beachhead long enough to for reinforcements to arrive, which untimately led to the defeat of the invasion. Under his leadership, Turkey adopted a constitution making it a secular democracy, the bans on outward demonstrations of religion going so far as to bar women from wearing veils or even covering their hair.
