Do u have to be baptized to enter in the gates of heaven?
Baptism is NOT essential for salvation. But you SHOULD be baptized since Jesus commanded believers to do so. Even Jesus Christ was baptized. So you should be. The thief on the cross that was crucified next to Jesus became a believer as Jesus spoke to him. He was born again right there next to Jesus, and was never baptized. Jesus Christ told him. “Today you shall be with me in paradise.” There are men and women who have given their lives during a war, who were believers, but were never baptized. BUT……. you should not base your actions on what happened in those circumstances, but on what God has said concerning baptism. And God says. Be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Baptism is simply an outward sign of an inward decision you have made to give your LIFE to Jesus Christ.
