Do tyre manufacturers give a guide mileage in their technical specifications?
iam a tyre fitter and i can tell you that they wont give you a great guide because most people drive like loonys and they cant guarantee the circumstances. we have had people come in and complain that the tyres havent lasted long enough and we write a letter for them to the company and everytime they say that it is down to your driving. TOP TIP if you have wear on the edge of the tyre more than any where else then go get your tracking done for about 30 pounds and it saves alot of buying new tyres. BUY MICHELIN!
