When first hatched, turtles are very small. But each day you will see them becoming bigger. This is noticable if you hatch one egg one day, and another the next day – you will see the noticable differences in sizes between the first hatchling and the next. It takes exactly 7 days for the turtles to grow into full adults / maturity. At this point, they can mate.
