Do Turkish people understand Russian?

0

The languages Turkish and Russian are….mutually unintelligible. They’re not related. If a Turkish speaker didn’t speak Russian, He or She wouldn’t be able to understand a Russian speaker and Vice versa. To clarify, German and Turkish are seperate languages! They were formed at different periods in history and in different regions…..Turkish is a language isolate, they’re thinking it’s related to Korean , an altaic language. Many people believe basque belongs to this group also. Language isolate can mean, it’s parent languages and related languages are extinct or it just “popped” out of nowhere….
