Fixed position interior load bearing walls are not necessary under roof trusses, offering interior design flexibility and opportunities for large open areas without compromising structural integrity of the building. In residential building, trusses are typically spaced at 600mm centres as opposed to 450mm centres for traditional framing techniques to optimise strength and timber resources.
