Do truck drivers still use CB radios or do they have more advanced electronic communication now?
In the past 10-15 years, the CB Radio has become about the most worthless piece of crap in a truck. Most drivers still have them, but most only use them occasionally. There is always a bunch of total nonsense going on, on the CB. Most drivers don’t want to hear it. Most drivers rely on their cell phone and/ or GPS to do the same thing they used to rely on the CB for. Cell phones with their unlimited minute plans and head sets have taken over. I’ve been doing it for over twenty years and I don’t even have a CB in my truck anymore. I could care less what color panties some one is wearing or that they aren’t wearing any or any of the other total dumb sh**t that is on the CB nowadays.
