No….. the fire engine as with any emergency vehicle including police and ambulances must be displaying emergency light and sirens and approach the intersection of a red light and can only pursed if it is safe to do so. If there is a red light they must obtain right away and any vehicle at or near must paused or move to the right to give them access.
