Do those abdominal trim belts work?
No those things dont work. The only way to tone your stomach area is to loose weight in general, as there is no such thing as ‘spot reduction’. The stomach and hip area are the hardest places to burn fat from because they are usually the first place you put it on, and you burn fat in the reverse order in which you put it on. Also there is apparently less blood flow in that area so that contributes to the difficulty. So my advice is to start a good fat burning programme (dieting and slow paced cardio) and work all the muscles in that area as well to strengthen and help pump the muscles with blood which will assist with the fat loss.
