Do they think im doing nasty stuff?
They don’t usually think you’re doing ‘nasty stuff’ unless you’ve been talking about sex…they are simply curious as to what you are doing, because it is apparent your focus isn’t on the phone conversation if you get quiet. You either are watching TV, chatting with someone else, reading, or sitting there quietly waiting for them to say something…. Natural for people to wonder what’s up if the other person gets quiet on the phone. It causes them to think that person is ready to end the phone conversation.
