Do they sell hermit crabs in petsmart?
I don’t remember ever seeing them sell hermit crabs. You can always call your local store. Also, check out this following site on how to properly care for a hermit crab. Pet stores have no clue. http://www.hermitcrabassociation.com/php… I’d start out with a 10 gallon aquarium (may want to get a lid since I heard some crabs can crawl up the glue on the corners). Buy a bag of that fine aquarium sand and a block of coconut fibers. Mix that together. Always provide one dish of salt water and one dish of fresh water. Buy food that does not have Ethoxyquin in it. Give them fresh fruits and veggies too. Get shells slightly larger than your pets. NO PAINTED SHELLS!!! They may have toxic paint. I bought a hermit crab from the shore that had a painted shell knowing the shell was bad because the crab was a unique species. 20 minutes after giving him new natural shells, he had changed homes. Oh, and buy 2 to 3 hermit
