Do they have a brick and mortar location?
In my opinion, it is important that your Tuner has a physical location for a couple of reasons. First, if they have a shop, you know that they are at least somewhat established and committed to tuning. This is also a pretty good indicator that they are making their living from doing this sort of thing, and that means something. It also means that you know where to find them. Ideally, you should not be meeting your Tuner for the first time when you drop your car off. If they have a shop, you should stop by some time before you have your car tuned and see what they are working on. Keep in mind that they may not have time to talk to you for long if they are busy (they make their living tuning cars remember) but this would be a good opportunity to meet them, and see how they work, and what they are working on. It will also give you an opportunity to evaluate the cleanliness, and organization of their facility, which means something too.
