There are those who are unsure what the IOC’s response to President Obama’s push for the 2016 Olympics would say about America’s leader. Fiery rhetorical volleys have issued forth and touched on other topics even remotely connected to the president. Accordingly, the judgment of President Obama (and of his critics for their evaluation, in turn) is unlikely to be a surprise to anyone paying close attention. And so, perhaps it is probable that the intense scrutiny of our President Obama goes deeper than his choice to campaign so visibly for the 2016 Olympics.
