Do they celebrate Christmas in Spain?
Yes, but it is called “Feliz Navidad”. Instead of Santa bringing the presents the Three Wise Men do. Christmas Eve is a special time also. Christmas dinner is never eaten before midnight on Christmas Eve. Piles of fruit, flowers, sweets, candles, and other decor decorate the towns. The Spanish Christmas lasts a few weeks after December 25th. On January 5th children put their shoes on the doorstep filled with hay or barley for the camels that carry the Three Wise Men. January 6th is spent watching parades where people hand out cakes and candy.
