Do these Slendertone belts actually work?
They will not make you lose weight – only cardio exercise such as running, swimming and aerobics will. You cannot target one part of the body to lose weight – if you perform cardio exercise then you will lose weight allover, providing you are on a diet too. To lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you eat, which can be a hard, long process, so finding an easy way out such as a slendertone belt will do nothing but get your hopes up hun. But the belt could help you tone up a little, but not a great deal. Your muscles need to be stretched, torn and worked harder than that to get toned up. You’d be better off toning by doing light weights and doing crunches. You will only see results of toning after you have lost any layers of fat on top though – if you have a flabby belly, you can do all the stomach crunches and sit-ups in the world – you won’t notice until you have shifted the fat on top through cardio exercise.
