Do the yarns need special handling?
Our current line of yarns are all protein based, i.e., wool, silk, mohair and benefit from hand washing in cool water to avoid felting. Our yarns Serengeti and Wasonga, however, are 100% Superwash Merino Wool that can be machine washed on the gentle cycle. While the yarns may be machine dried, experience suggests air drying to avoid fuzziness and extend the yarn’s longevity.
