Do the words and numbers in graphs and tables count as word count?
From when I was at university, the word count consisted of the words that were written prose by the student. Therefore words on graphs and tables, appendices, and quotations from journals do not count towards this. If you are unsure about anything, see if your university has any information on their approach to this on your student information booklets, or ask a lecturer, after all, they are there to help and teach and be utilised for your education.
