These units are manufactured with a NEMA type 14-50P male 240V connector (plug). We recommend a wall outlet comparable to a Leviton Part Number 279R. This recommended type of 240 volt outlet should be installed by a licensed electrical contractor, approximately 10 to 12 inches to the left of where you will have your Charge@Home unit installed, taking all applicable codes and zoning into account.
