Do the tours include much walking and stair climbing?
Almost all of our tours involve some walking and some tours include more walking and stair climbing than others. Walking may be over uneven surfaces such as cobblestone city streets or the rocky pathways of historic ruins. On many tours, it is necessary to negotiate stairs. Please keep in mind that many of the buildings and other venues you will be visiting were constructed well before conveniences such as elevators were invented and have been preserved in their original state.
