Do the territories in Canada have a weak or strong population density?

0

the Canadian territories have a very low population density(less than a person per square km).this due to the extreme climate(freezing cold temperatures, high winds, and long periods in darkness, aprox.six months of endless darkness).because the territories are so scarcely populated, there are hardly any job opportunities.the ground is permanently frozen(permafrost)nothing can grow.there are also no factories or industries to make products.this means that all the food, clothing, and other necessities must be shipped in from elsewhere,so they are very expensive.the territories are mostly(but not wholy!) populated by the Inuit, who have lived on the land for centuries. The Canadian territories also do not have a great political influence in the Canadian federal government(which is why they are territories and not provinces),and many Canadians do not like this.Hope This Helps(=.
