The Suggestion Award Program and the Merit Award Program have been folded into formal departmental recognition awards that allow departments to award up to $5,000 to individuals and up to $10,000 to groups. Therefore, departments no longer need to use the scale in the former Suggestion Award Program to identify cost saving initiatives.
