Do the students get together for social events outside of co-op?

Because so many of our children have made friends in co-op, they get together occasionally during the week or over breaks informally at each other’s homes. Nothing has been formally organized, however. This could be because there are so many homeschool support groups already in this area. We often see each other at those events, such as the Fellowship of Home Educators (FHE), Elmore County Homeschool Organization (ECHO), Maxwell Area Home Educators (MAHE), and Montgomery Parent Educators And Kids (PEAK). The teenagers often meet together at Lunch Bunch (grades 7-12) on the first and third Friday of each month, and the younger children often see each other at Lunch Bunch Junior (grades 6 and below). Both are held at the homes of homeschoolers in Millbrook.
